Tactility is underappreciated. After all, an object needs to be touched to be fully understood.<\/p>\n

Physical tools are often more fun than their virtual counterparts because of their tactility; this phenomenon is called the fiddle factor. The Force Touch trackpad and the Taptic Engine bring some liveliness to the virtual worlds.<\/p>\n

Tactile items also have a practical benefit: they can be easily used in the dark. Tactile switches convey a sense of certainty.<\/p>\n

I aim for everything that I touch to have a lovely lindy feel.
